Save as EPS, TIFF...

Barcode Producer can save barcodes in EPS, TIFF, and PDF formats. After customizing your barcode, simply click the  Save button in the toolbar and choose the desired output format from the list.

EPS Format

EPS output is the best choice for use with Adobe Illustrator and other software that works with vector images and page layout. EPS output is not like a traditional image. Rather than being composed of a grid of colored pixels, an EPS file contains drawing instructions and measurements. A computer or printer interprets these instructions to display the image. This allows an EPS barcode to be printed at any resolution or placed inside another vector image without any inherent limitations on image quality.

TIFF Format

TIFF output is the best choice for use with Adobe Photoshop and other software that works with raster images. TIFF is a traditional raster image format, comparable to JPEG, PNG, PICT, and BMP. TIFF images are composed of a grid of colored pixels, just like a photograph from a digital camera. The output device resolution setting determines the number of pixels used to draw the barcode. The more pixels used, the higher the quality of image. To avoid the effects of scaling, choose an output device resolution equal to the resolution of your printer.

PDF Format

PDF is a highly portable and compatible format, but it is not designed to be edited or incorporated into another document. It is a good choice for sending a sample barcode to another person.

Barcode Producer for Mac/PC creates perfect barcodes for retail packages, labels, books, packages, and everything else.
