Adding Users

Everyone who uses Barcode Producer needs a license of their own. You add people on the People page of your account, which only Owners can see.

Buying more licenses#

Each license is one person, so to go from one user to three, buy two more:

1. On the People page, click Add Licenses.
2. Choose how many licenses you need.
3. Check out. You’re signed in, so they’re added to your account.

With a Whole Organization license, there are no licenses to count – add anyone with an email address at your organization’s domains.

Adding a user#

1. On the People page, click Add User – it’s there while you have a free license.
2. Enter their name and email address. Check Organization owner if they should also manage people, billing, and organization settings.
3. Click Add and Send Welcome Email.

They’ll get a welcome email, sign in with their own email address and a verification code, then download Barcode Producer from the Software page and activate it on their own computer.

Removing a user#

When you delete a user from the People page, their access to Barcode Producer ends and any computer they’re signed in on is deactivated. Their license is then free for someone else.

“Device Limit Reached”#

Each user can activate Barcode Producer on one computer at a time. If someone new sees this message, check that they’re activating with their own email address, not a colleague’s. If you bought a license for them, add them as a user first. If you need another license, buy one. To switch computers, deactivate the old one first.
