Update Plan

Barcode Producer’s Update Plan keeps Barcode Producer current. While it’s active, you get every new version, barcode compliance updates, and support from us. Every perpetual license includes its first year, and the plan renews yearly after that for an annual renewal fee.

Add-ons such as Automator & Data Merge need an active Update Plan.

Your License page#

The License page of your account shows when your Update Plan renews or ends, and the latest version of Barcode Producer you can use.

If it says your Update Plan isn’t set to renew and you’d like to add updates, email us and we’ll set it to renew automatically.

When the Update Plan ends#

Barcode Producer keeps working, and you can still move it to a new computer – but it’s no longer updated or supported. You can use every version released before your Update Plan ended; newer versions need an active Update Plan.

To get new versions, compliance updates, and support again, renew your Update Plan from the Billing page. The License page links there.

Renewing#

Renewals are handled by FastSpring, our order fulfillment provider. To manage your renewal, open the Billing page and click Open Billing on FastSpring. Only the billing contact can open it. More about billing and renewals

Canceling#

Barcode Producer’s Update Plan is optional, and can be canceled at any time. You’ll keep getting updates through the end of your paid term, and then won’t be billed again.
