Activation
Barcode Producer activates when you sign in with your account email address. Each user activates the software on one computer at a time, Mac or Windows; until you activate, it runs as a demo.
Downloading#
Download Barcode Producer for Mac or Windows from the Software page of your account. It offers the newest version your license includes.
Activating#
Open Barcode Producer and choose Barcode Producer ▸ Account & Software Activation… (on Windows, Help ▸ Account & Software Activation…). Enter your account email address, and you’ll get an email with a verification link. Open the link on the same computer, and Barcode Producer activates. You’re ready to start creating barcodes.
One computer at a time#
Each user can activate Barcode Producer on one computer at a time. If someone sees “Device Limit Reached,” check that they’re activating with their own email address, not a colleague’s – or deactivate the computer they used before. If you bought a license for them, add them as a user first. If you need another license, buy one.
Moving to a new computer#
- Deactivate the old computer, either in Barcode Producer on that computer or on the My Computers page of your account. If the old computer is lost or no longer works, use My Computers.
- Download Barcode Producer from the Software page of your account and install it on the new computer.
- Open Barcode Producer on the new computer and sign in with your account email address to activate it.
Already have a license?#
Lost your software access? No worries – we’re happy to assist you. Go to the Software page of your account, sign in with your email address, and download Barcode Producer. Then activate it with the same email address. If someone else at your organization bought it, ask the account’s Owner to add you as a user.
Can’t find your purchase? Please email us to ask us to help locate your receipt. Please provide all of the following:
- The name of the person who ordered Barcode Producer
- Your company name
- Any other details we can use to search for the order
