Licenses

Barcode Producer is licensed per person, and licenses are managed through Barcode Producer Account. Each person signs in with their own email address and uses Barcode Producer on one computer at a time, Mac or Windows.

You can buy licenses on our order page, and if you own Barcode Producer 6 or earlier, you can upgrade to Barcode Producer 26 at a discount. More about buying

Perpetual license#

A perpetual license is for as many users as you choose. Barcode Producer doesn’t expire – it’s a one-time purchase you can use as much as you want. It works with every version released before your Update Plan ends, and you can add users at any time.

Update Plan#

The Update Plan gives you new versions, barcode compliance updates, and support. Every perpetual license includes its first year, and it renews yearly after that. If it ends, Barcode Producer keeps working – you just don’t get newer versions. More about the Update Plan

Whole Organization#

A Whole Organization license covers everyone with an email address at your organization’s domains, with no limit on the number of users. Owners add people from the People page. In every other way, it works like a perpetual license. To add or change a domain, email us and we’ll take care of it.

Add-ons#

Add-ons are optional features you add to your license, each for a yearly fee – Automator & Data Merge, for example, creates barcodes in bulk. More about add-ons

Annual subscription#

Barcode Producer is also sold as an annual subscription, by request only, for enterprise customers. A subscription includes every new version while it’s active, and stops working when it ends. Email us for more information.
